You will be the Lead Accountant overseeing all aspects of finance, accounting, tax and reporting for the legal entities.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Monthly and Annual preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheet and cash flow statements adhering to US GAAP and international financial reporting standards. Ensuring deadlines are met according to Caterpillar and Solar deadlines. Managing monthly closing & consolidation, and account reconciliation activities. Providing accounting and finance counsel to support the District Service Manager. Proficiency in Egyptian GAAP is required for this position.Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing and payment of company’s taxes such as Personal Income Tax, VAT, WHT, NCD and CIT.Financial Planning and Analysis: Support the budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling efforts to provide insights into the District’s financial performance and identify areas for improvement.Internal Customer Communication: Effectively communicate financial information and insights to the Regional Leadership in order to support informed decision-making.Qualifications:Higher National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Professional certification in accounting or related field is a must. Proven experience 3+ years in similar role within Oil servicing industry and a thorough knowledge of the financial accounting activities of a multinational may be an added advantage.Skills: Excellent written and oral communication. Ability to work with little or no supervision. Team player. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Power Point. Demonstrate familiarity and proficiency with financial reporting systems and data analysis. Good interpersonal relation.
