Senior QA/QC Manager

Job Summary
The Senior QA/QC Manager leads in the development of strategies and processes of QA/QC department by implementing policies, procedures, regulations of quality control work and supervisory techniques to ensure that work is executed within specific methods, project quality plan guidelines and procedures that can assure high quality of services and products, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement of processes and services.
Job Responsibilities 1
Prepares and maintains project QA/QC plan to meet the project quality requirements.
Establishes project quality objectives in line with IMS corporate objectives; monitors submittal status of QA/QC reports and reviews all technical submittals.
Builds and implements a control system for suppliers and subcontractors and conducts site audits.
Attends all required/related meetings and arranges all project Quality requirements with the project owner, consultant, and project management team.
Manages effective project Close-Out process.
Oversee the review material submittals and method statements submitted by the contractor to ensure the quality requirements set on the project is met.
Prepares the project QA/QC plan and supervise all amendments and revisions in order to meet the project quality requirements and client’s expectations.
Ensures to prepare the project QA/ QC plan within 30 days from the start of contract and get it approved from the consultant.

Ensures that review is undertaken on a quarterly or on a need basis.
Ensures to supervise all amendments and track and record revisions to the QA/ QC plan after any amendment and issue to all concerned parties.
Establishes project quality objectives in line with IMS corporate objectives and ensure to monitor submittals of QA/QC reports.
Ensures to prepare, review and amend quality objectives as per client requirements within 30 days of the start of the project and ensures its alignment with corporate QMS objectives.
Ensures to monitor the objectives on monthly basis and have the proper statistics and records.
Builds and implements a control system for suppliers and subcontractors.
Ensures that all Subcontractors are prequalified from the consultant before start working on sites.
Ensures that all materials are approved from the consultant before using them on sites.
Ensures all subcontractors works are controlled on sites as per the company OC procedures.
Skills
Job Knowledge & Skills
• Certification of ISO as (minimum) an Internal/Lead Auditor.Knowledge of work related standards, specifications, and quality systems such as: QCS, ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, BSEN, ACI and AASHTO.Excellent technical knowledge in QC issues for projects.With vast knowledge in Project Management, Technical Engineering works and project coordination.Knowledge of local employment laws/regulations sufficient to analyze proposed personnel policies.Knowledge and hands-on experience in External & Internal Quality Audit Programme.
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or in any Engineering related discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical)
