Purpose Of The RoleTo provide a comprehensive Business Travel Consultancy to company clients. To assist in the achievement of short and long term budgeted financial objectives for the Service Centre Location through operational excellence and customer care and the achievement of personal targets and objectives set by the Manager.Main Responsibilities Travel ConsultancyTo gain a thorough understanding of customer’s business needs To make suggestions and assist with itinerary planning To provide suitable solutions to problems and provide assistance to travel junior consultants To provide the best possible prices and advise the most suitable product(s) To suggest the products of preferred partners and suppliers and increase hotel sales. Adhere to and comply with customer Travel Policy To be aware of any business, environmental trends or issues that may affect the customer’s requirement and address their needs accordingly Customer CareProvide the highest level of customer care at all times Act with courtesy, speed and efficiency to build positive customer relationships To be aware of any problems or risks and identify these immediately to the Office Supervisor so that corrective action is taken Provide confirmations via CWT Itinerary Traveler ServicesTo be aware of and adhere to Company procedures, policies, standards and best practices To make domestic and international travel arrangements, which include: air, hotel, rail, ground transportation and other travel related travel logistics To use standard booking systems within the location use of CWT PNR Express (Amadeus offices) To ensure all bookings are queued to Aqua for quality checks To attend and participate in all appropriate product training to ensure the best possible advice is given to our customers To ensure that telephones, faxes and emails are responded to within the times set in the Location/Client Service Level Agreement To continually look for opportunities for refining and improving office efficiency whilst maintaining Company and service standards To optimize usage of CRS/ Supplier websites for airline and general information in order to limit calls to Airlines’ support To optimize usage of HARP for all hotel bookings To be able to calculate and process reissues and refunds To insert all data necessary for management reports and accounting functions. To maintain security of passwords and confidentiality of Company and Customer information Correctly log emergency calls received by customers To effectively utilize the following CWT products.ColleaguesTo maintain a good working relationship with other team members and ensure a good working relationship within the Location and with other areas within the Company To assist other team members whenever necessary To mentor and monitor performance of less experienced members of the team as instructed by the Office Manager AdministrationTo follow administration procedures according to Company standards Efficient use of CRS queues and Scripts to ensure timely distribution of travel documents To inset CRS remarks for bookings made To conform to PCI standardsQualificationsEducation & experienceCollege degree Minimum 4 years travel industry experience. Other criteria, such as good performance reviews, business knowledge, positive attitude, and teamwork are essential factors to be a Senior Travel Consultant. (vacancy must exist)Skilled in Sabre and Amadeus GDSGood command of the English language: Intermediate level (reading/ writing and speaking)Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, effective Internet browsing, MS office outlookGood interpersonal skills
