Job description: Job Purpose: As a Senior Lighting Designer at Light ARC.  You will be responsible for supporting the UK Lighting team Technically, and creatively. You will be expected to push the boundaries both creatively and technically to deliver outstanding and award-winning lighting designs. We work across a vast range of sectors, including commercial, hospitality, retail, public realm, and cultural heritage.  You will work closely with clients, architects, and engineers to create lighting designs that meet their requirements and are energy-efficient. You will manage a team of lighting designers and oversee the project from conception to installation. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the project and meeting the project deadlines. Skills and Attributes: Expert knowledge in lighting design and technology Experience managing a team of lighting designers Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, architects, and engineers  Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling Knowledge of lighting software, such as AGi32, Dialux, or Relux Familiarity with lighting codes and regulations, such as the National Electric Code, British & Eurpenan standards. Creativity and an eye for design Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability to changes in the project scope or timeline.   Role Accountability: Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to create lighting designs that meet their requirements and are energy-efficient, overseeing projects from conception to installation.Manage intermediate and junior team members Create lighting plans, specifications, and drawings using lighting software Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the quality of the project Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules.Ensure compliance with lighting codes and regulations, in accordance to the relative region and country product are conducted in.Support to clients, architects, and engineers Keep up-to-date with the latest lighting technology and trends Develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals   Requirements: You will ideally have a Bachelor’s degree in Interior design, Lighting Design, or Architecture.
