The role holder is responsible for providing specialist expertise regarding Health, Safety and Environmental Standards, procedures and practices.<br/><br/>Core Responsibilities:<br/><br/>•Monitors Health, Safety& Environment conditions across all premises and identifies any issues related to HSE.<br/><br/>•Inspect all SAR Railway infrastructure for any non-compliance with standards and procedures.<br/><br/>•Provides guidance and support to all employees regarding the mitigation of various and common environmental health and safety issues.<br/><br/>•Defines and develops Health, Safety& Environment procedures and performs random HSE checks to ensure compliance.<br/><br/>•Understands the current government and industry.<br/><br/>•regulations on Environmental Health and Safety standards and procedures.<br/><br/>•Keeps abreast of any new government and industry.<br/><br/>•regulations on Environmental Health and Safety standards and procedures.<br/><br/>•Prepares ideas to help employees reduce the risk of violations of health and safety standards and procedures.<br/><br/>•Organizes workshops, conferences, and trainings to employees regarding HSE management issues.<br/><br/>•Support SAR teams in accident investigations.<br/><br/>•Assist SAR teams to deliver instructions.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:<br/><br/>-Strategic and Managerial Contribution:<br/><br/>•Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the HSE Assurance & Inspection Senior Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the year.<br/><br/>•Provides inputs for the development of strategy of the Industrial Security Division in line with the SBU strategy and cascade the same to the Division/ Department's annual operating plan.<br/><br/>•Drives the Division/ Department results through effective planning, resource allocation, work allocation, monitoring and decision.<br/><br/>•making to achieve the Division/ Department-level KPls.<br/><br/>-Health, Safety and Environment:<br/><br/>•Complies with the company safety, health, and environment objectives.<br/><br/>•Compliance with the environment and health standards in coordination with HSE Department.<br/><br/>-Budgeting & Cost Control:<br/><br/>•Supports in the preparation of the department budgets based on budget requirement by the team and monitors financial performance versus the budget to ensure adherence to the set budget.<br/><br/>-People management Responsibilities:<br/><br/>•Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting authority and ensures that the goals are achieved during the year.<br/><br/>•Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting authority to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.<br/><br/>•Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.<br/><br/>•Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.<br/><br/>#J-18808-Ljbffr
