Health Monitoring and Care:
- Conduct regular health checks and assessments of children to monitor growth, development, and general health.
- Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses, injuries, and conditions within the scope of the nursery setting.
- Administer first aid and emergency care when necessary.
Preventative Healthcare:
- Implement and oversee immunization programs as per local health authority guidelines.
- Educate nursery staff and parents on preventing the spread of infectious diseases.
- Develop and enforce health and hygiene standards within the nursery.
Parent and Staff Consultation:
- Provide guidance and advice to parents regarding their child’s health, nutrition, and developmental needs.
- Train nursery staff on health, safety, and first aid practices.
- Offer support and counseling to children and parents on health-related issues.
Liaison with Healthcare Professionals:
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers regarding children’s health issues that require outside medical attention.
- Maintain up-to-date health records and ensure confidentiality of all medical information.
- Report and discuss any significant health issues or concerns with nursery management.
Health Policy Development:
- Assist in developing health policies and procedures for the nursery.
- Ensure compliance with local health regulations and standards.
- Stay informed on the latest pediatric health recommendations and best practices.
A medical degree with a specialization in Pediatrics.Valid license to practice medicine.Experience in pediatric care, preferably in a community or educational setting.Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with children, parents, and nursery staff.Knowledge of child development and early childhood diseases.CPR and First Aid certification.
