In this role you will be reporting to Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for leading the factory Maintenance team in the planning and implementation of initiatives that maintain and improve the reliability, effectiveness and efficiency of equipment, technical infrastructure, production lines and facilities. Coordinating the response to equipment breakdowns.Your responsibilitiesProviding technical support for the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and automation systems. Developing and implementing maintenance programs for equipmentAnalyzing task requirements and developing a bill of materials and project cost estimates. Reading and interpreting system schematics for electric and hydraulic circuits. Layout intuitive and complete HMI screensDeveloping and modifying PLC ladder logic programs and SCADA. Implementing improvements in existing automation in machine assembly, machining and inspection. Programing new automation componentsBuilding, testing, installing and commissioning designed systems. Designing, manufacturing and installing electrical, electronic and mechanical components for use in a wide range of steel manufacturingSelecting necessary digital and analog sensors and devices to accomplish desired results. Using diagnostic and test equipment such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes. Coordinating projects and support construction and maintenance crews as neededIdentifying and troubleshooting quality issues. Writing reports and maintain accurate records, providing short training sessions to team members. Ensuring compliance with safety and equipment proceduresYour backgroundBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic & Communications Engineering. Fluency in English and Arabic language Minimum 8 years of experience in relevant field. Proven work experience as a maintenance engineer more than 5 years. Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and heating systemsAbility to read and interpret system schematics for electric and hydraulic circuits. Ability to work with heavy equipment. Experience with Drives, servo, DC motor, pneumatic and hydraulic controlsExperience in programming PLC, SCADA and other automation systems. Ability to design, manufacture, and install electrical, electronic and mechanical components for use in a wide range of steel manufacturingGood communication skills. Ability to analyze task requirements and develop a bill of materials and project cost estimatesCoordinating projects and support construction and maintenance crews as needed.
