Working hours:- 10 am – 6 PM

Job description :

• Designs furniture for manufacture, according to the knowledge of design trends, offerings of competition, production costs, the capability of production facilities, and characteristics of the company's market: Confers with production, design, and sales personnel to obtain design suggestions and customer orders.
• Sketches freehand design of the article.
• Obtains approval from the customer, design committee, or authorized company officials, and originates scale or full-size drawing, using drawing instruments.
• Prepares or directs preparation of blueprints containing manufacturing specifications, such as dimensions, kind of wood, and upholstery fabrics to be used in manufacturing articles.
•  May design and prepare detailed drawings of jigs, fixtures, forms, or tools required to be used in production.
• May plan modifications for completed furniture to conform to changes in design trends and increase customer acceptance.
• May build or oversee the construction of models or prototypes.

Job requirements:-

• BA in product design applied arts or architecture.
• Extensive home and furniture experience.
• Identifying & creative new design opportunities through marketing insight that will push the boundaries of this retailer and making, the quick decisions for key designs.
• Professional skillset on the Design process and CAD tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) Innovation & creativity skills (art direction, graphics, products curating, trend forecasting)
• Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong visual awareness and an eye for detail
• Have good drawing skills.
• Be inventive and imaginative
• Be passionate about furniture.
• Autocad and 3d max Proficiency.
