Classification: Information Technology Officer Class 2 Salary: $95,746 - $109,072 plus superannuation Position No: 57463 Directorate: ACT Health Advertised (Gazettal date): 28 March 2024 Contact Officer: Layla Tabaja [اضغط هنا لمشاهدة البريد اﻹلكتروني] or620 54199 Details: The Digital Solutions Support Team Leader, under the general direction of the Assistant Director, Digital Solutions Support, supervises the team that provides ICT technical support to the users of systems within the ACT public health system. The role is required to also undertake help desk activity and provide technical support outside of usual business hours through a roster arrangement utilizing on call overtime arrangements and shifts that can be scheduled at any time seven days per week, 24 hours per day. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of approximately twelve level one support staff.
  • Lead the team to provide exemplary proactive and reactive level 1 support electronically and face to face across the full range of infrastructure and systems supported by Digital Solutions Support. Coordinate the rostering of staff to ensure that reasonable user expectations are able to be met.
  • Manage team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality support services.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities across the team and manage service management tools and process improvements.
  • Report to senior management on key performance metrics and early awareness of issues and problems.
  • Respond virtually to security incidents and task security guards to attend security incidents as required.
  • Act as Incident Manager to manage the response to any incidents that may occur during rostered shifts.
  • Act as a Fire Warden and First Aid Officer as required (training will be provided by ACT Health) Undertaking other duties appropriate to this level of classification that contribute to the Directorate.

  • This role requires you to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV1 security clearance, which will be sponsored by the ACT Health Directorate. In order to be eligible for an NV1 security clearance, you must be an Australian citizen. If you are not successful in obtaining a Security clearance, your employment in the role will not commence. If already commenced, your employment will be terminated.
  • The Team Leader, Digital Solutions Support is required to wear an ACT Health uniform when undertaking their duties as this position is a public-facing role.
  • Hold and maintain a current unrestricted Drivers Licence for passenger cars.
