We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading electrical design projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, proficiency in design software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities: • Lead electrical design projects, including conceptualization, detailed design, and implementation, ensuring adherence to project requirements, budgets, and schedules. • Develop electrical design concepts, specifications, and drawings based on client needs, applicable codes, and standards. • Perform electrical load calculations, power distribution system design, lighting design, and equipment selection. • Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software for drafting, modeling, and analysis. • Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall building designs. • Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather information for design development and troubleshooting. • Review and evaluate technical proposals, specifications, and submittals from vendors and contractors. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members. • Collaborate with project managers to establish project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables. • Participate in design review meetings, client presentations, and discussions to address technical issues and provide updates on project progress. • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering design. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout the design process. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering or related field; Master s degree preferred. • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on building systems and infrastructure projects. • Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power Tools, or ETAP. • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, lighting design, and electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE). • Experience with building information modeling (BIM) and integrated design processes is desirable. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex electrical systems and develop practical solutions. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in design documentation and deliverables. • Proven track record of successfully leading electrical design projects from concept to completion. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated capacity to mentor and develop junior staff.
