We are seeking a highly seasoned and results-driven Project Director with a minimum of 25 years of extensive experience in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for large-scale housing and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, oversee project execution, and ensure the successful delivery of projects within established timelines and budgets. Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction for the successful execution of PMC projects in the housing and infrastructure sectors.
- Develop and implement project management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, considering scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements.
- Ensure alignment with client expectations and project objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are clearly understood and met.
- Foster strong client relationships to enhance project satisfaction and future collaboration.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including project managers, engineers, and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Oversee budget development and management for projects, ensuring cost control and financial sustainability.
- Identify and assess project risks, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
- Conduct regular quality assessments and audits.
- Provide regular and transparent project status updates to clients and senior management.
- Generate comprehensive reports on project progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Resolve any contractual disputes in collaboration with legal and project teams.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including government authorities, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure positive and collaborative relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 25 years of progressive experience in Project Management Consultancy for housing and infrastructure projects.
- Proven leadership and strategic management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management capabilities.
- Professional certifications in Project Management or related fields.
- Previous experience in managing PMC projects of significant scale and complexity.
