Role Description The Production Manager at a furniture factory at Retro Furniture is responsible for overseeing daily furniture production activities at the factory in Markaz Tanta. This full-time, on-site role includes planning and organizing production schedules, ensuring efficient use of materials and resources, and monitoring product quality and adherence to specifications. The role involves coordinating with design, procurement, and logistics teams, supervising production staff, and resolving operational issues to maintain smooth workflow and timely delivery. The manager will track performance metrics, implement process improvements, enforce safety standards, and support continuous optimization of manufacturing operations.
Qualifications Strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to organize schedules, allocate resources, and meet output targets. Practical experience in Manufacturing processes, especially in furniture production, including workflow optimization and quality control. Ability to review and refine production-related documentation and reports, with attention to detail in Editing and data accuracy. Proven experience supervising factory teams, with the ability to coach staff, assign tasks, and resolve operational challenges. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards relevant to manufacturing facilities. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and production specifications. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners. Relevant technical or engineering degree, or equivalent experience in furniture manufacturing or industrial production. Familiarity with production management software and basic office applications is an advantage.
