1. Accounting & Team Management

- Manage and supervise the Accounting Department and accounting team.

- Oversee cash, treasury, and bank transactions and ensure proper documentation and controls.

- Review journal entries, trial balances, and accounting records to ensure accuracy.

- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable and ensure timely reconciliations and settlements.

2. Inventory & Cost Management

- Closely monitor inventory movements, including switches, sockets, lamps, panels, exhaust fans, ceiling fans, and electrical wires.

- Supervise periodic and annual physical inventory counts and reconcile physical balances with system records.

- Investigate and resolve inventory variances, shortages, and overages.

- Ensure accurate product costing, including purchase/import cost, freight, customs duties, clearance fees, and other related expenses.

- Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory and prepare regular reports.

- Analyze product profitability based on actual costs and selling prices.

3. Sales, Purchasing & Pricing

- Manage supplier accounts, including manufacturers and wholesalers, and follow up on balances, settlements, and damaged/returned goods.

- Monitor customer accounts, including retail shops, electrical technicians, and contractors.

- Monitor credit sales, collections, and customer credit limits.

- Participate in developing pricing, discount, and promotional strategies.

- Ensure target profit margins are maintained across different product categories.

4. Internal Controls & ERP Systems

- Develop and implement effective internal controls to minimize risks of fraud, errors, and losses in inventory, cash, and sales.

- Review and improve accounting procedures and document flows for sales, purchasing, inventory, and treasury.

- Supervise the accounting system and ensure proper integration between accounting, inventory, sales, and POS systems.

- Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting accuracy

Requirements

-10 years of accounting experience, including at least 7 years as an Accounting Manager.

- Previous experience in Electrical Products, Lighting, Sanitary Ware, Wholesale Trading, or Import Companies is required.

- Strong experience in inventory accounting, product costing, and managing large numbers of SKUs.

- Excellent knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Odoo ,Smacc, Daftra, or SAP Business One.

- Strong knowledge of E-Invoicing, VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Egyptian tax requirements.

- Strong financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management skills.

- Proven leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting Major
