Role Description the Supplier Quality Section Head role at Legrand (Egypt) is a full-time, on-site position based in El Sadat City. This role leads the supplier quality function, defining and implementing standards, procedures, and evaluation methods to ensure that all supplied materials and components meet Legrand’s quality, safety, and reliability requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing and approving new suppliers, conducting audits and performance reviews, managing corrective and preventive actions, and collaborating with purchasing, production, and R&D teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues. The role also involves monitoring key quality indicators, driving continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with relevant quality systems, regulations, and internal policies. The Supplier Quality Section Head will coach and develop team members, foster strong relationships with suppliers, and contribute to strategic sourcing decisions through data-driven quality insights. Key Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical field). Experience: 6–8 years of hands-on Quality Control experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Expertise in Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies. LSSGB or TQM certification is highly preferred. Proficient with core quality management tools, ISO standards, and shop-floor quality operations. Advanced proficiency in MS Office and strong reporting skills; experience with Power BI is preferred. Proven problem-solving ability, confident decision-maker, and comfortable working directly on the shop floor.
