Overview: As an MEP Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and overseeing the integration of critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for a diverse portfolio of construction projects.   • Responsibilities:
    • Lead the design and analysis of comprehensive MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical power distribution, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
    • Prepare detailed engineering calculations, specifications, and technical reports for all MEP components.
    • Collaborate closely with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within the overall project design.
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
    • Oversee the selection and procurement of MEP equipment and materials, evaluating vendor proposals and ensuring cost-effectiveness and performance.
    • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Skills & Technologies: You will leverage your deep knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, coupled with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Expertise in HVAC Systems Design, Plumbing Systems, and Fire Protection Systems is crucial, alongside a strong understanding of Building Codes & Regulations and Energy Efficiency principles.

Requirements

  • Exceptional Foundation: A strong academic background in Engineering, with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven Expertise: A minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience as an MEP Engineer, preferably within the construction, civil, or architectural sectors.
  • Mastery of MEP Systems: Demonstrated proficiency in the design, analysis, and implementation of complex MEP systems, including HVAC Systems Design, Plumbing Systems, and Fire Protection Systems.
  • Technical Prowess: Advanced skills in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit, with a solid understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows.
  • Regulatory Acumen: In-depth knowledge of local and international Building Codes & Regulations, ensuring all designs meet safety and performance standards.
