Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimation Engineer to join our team at the Riyadh Head Office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical estimation and tendering within the construction industry, with a strong background in preparing accurate cost estimates for infrastructure and building projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing tender documents, performing detailed quantity take-offs, obtaining supplier quotations, and preparing competitive technical and commercial proposals. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate electrical cost estimates and tender submissions for infrastructure and construction projects. Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify project requirements. Perform detailed quantity take-offs for electrical systems, including:Power and control cables Switchboards and distribution panels Lighting fixtures Transformers Earthing and lightning protection systems Containment systems (conduits, cable trays, trunking) Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontract costs to develop competitive pricing. Coordinate with the engineering, procurement, and project teams during the tendering process. Conduct value engineering and cost optimization while maintaining compliance with project specifications. Maintain and update the electrical cost database and pricing records based on market trends. Ensure all estimates comply with client requirements, local regulations, and company standards. Support contract negotiations by providing technical and commercial clarifications when required. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical estimation and tendering within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods. Proven experience in quantity take-off and cost estimation for infrastructure and/or building projects. Excellent understanding of the Saudi Arabian construction market and pricing trends. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Auto CAD, and estimation software. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Professional certification such as RICS is highly preferred. Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
