Role Description The Tourism Manager is a full-time on-site role based in Giza, responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of tour operations and travel packages. This role includes designing and optimizing itineraries, supervising guided tours, and ensuring that all services meet company standards for safety, quality, and guest satisfaction. The Tourism Manager collaborates with local partners, hotels, transport providers, and tour guides, manages bookings and schedules, and resolves customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Daily tasks involve monitoring tour performance, analyzing feedback, and identifying opportunities to improve services and develop new tourism offerings. The role also includes contributing to tourism marketing activities, preparing reports, and working closely with management to support business growth.
Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Tourism Management and Tourism skills with experience in organizing and overseeing multi-destination tours. Candidates should possess Guided Tours expertise, including coordination with tour guides and ensuring engaging, informative guest experiences. Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally. Candidates should possess Tourism Marketing capabilities, including promoting tour packages and collaborating with sales and marketing teams. Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field are beneficial. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tours and teams simultaneously are required. Proficiency in English and Arabic, with clear communication and interpersonal skills, is highly desirable. Knowledge of Egyptian destinations and cultural heritage, and prior experience in a travel agency or tour operations environment, is an advantage.
