Quality Control Manager

Job Summary:

 

The QC manager plays a critical role in driving the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control systems and processes to ensure products meet established quality standards. This is achieved by supervising QC staff and performing inspections, tests, and audits. 

 

Key Duties:

 

- Inspection and Testing: Inspecting and testing raw materials, Packing materials, components, and finished products at various stages of the production process to identify defects or deviations from standards.

 

- Quality Assurance: Monitoring production processes to ensure consistency and adherence to quality control policies and procedures. 

 

- Supplier Quality Management: Set requirements for raw materials or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.

 

- Customer Feedback: Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met and implement improvements based on this feedback.

 

- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, recording defects, statistical reviews, and preparing detailed reports for management. 

 

- Corrective Action: Identifying non-conformities and suggesting or implementing corrective actions to improve processes and product quality. 

 

- Compliance: Ensuring products and processes comply with industry regulations, standards, and legal requirements. 

 

- Collaboration: Working with production teams, engineers, and other departments to resolve quality issues and improve overall product quality. 

 

- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians, and other staff. Provide training and support to ensure adherence to quality standards.

 

- Data Analysis: Analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement. 

 

- Equipment and Standards: Operating and maintaining testing equipment and ensuring it is calibrated and accurate.

 

- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. 


- Experience: 10+ years of proven experience record as a Quality Manager in a leading F & B production company, preferred in the Sauces, Concentrates industry. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field. - Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and leadership abilities, and outstanding communication skills. - Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards, familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, ISO 45001, HACCP, BRC).  - Computer Skills: Proficient user of MS Office Suite, ERP system will be an advantage.  - Languages: Fluency in Arabic & English (Written & Spoken).   - Gender: Males only.
