General Manager

Job Summary:
The General Manager at Mr. Tailor will be responsible for overseeing all departments within the company, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, fashion industry knowledge, and exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage and motivate a diverse team to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to all departments, including sales, marketing, finance, HR, and operations.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration across all departments.

Operational Oversight:

  • Monitor and ensure efficient operation of all departments, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to adjust strategies and improve product offerings.

Financial Management:

  • Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure financial goals are met by monitoring expenses and optimizing revenue streams.

Human Resources:

  • Oversee HR functions including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure a safe and inclusive workplace.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure that high standards of customer service are maintained across all customer touchpoints.
  • Address customer complaints and feedback effectively to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Product Management:

  • Oversee product development and inventory management to ensure product availability and quality.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to bring new products to market.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks to protect the company’s assets and reputation.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of departmental and company-wide initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports for the CEO and board of directors on operational and financial performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Fashion Retail, or a related field; MBA preferred.Maximum age: 40 yearsMinimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the retail fashion industry.Proven track record of successfully managing multiple departments and leading diverse teams.Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, marketing, and financial management.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.Proficient in using retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Working Conditions:This position requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.The role may involve occasional travel to different store locations or industry events.
