e.construct designs structures such as bridges, high-rise design, commercial facilities design, precast concrete engineering, and post-tensioning design. We are a multi-disciplinary engineering design firm with specialized design and value engineering services.  The firm's core work is holistic at its approach, and it has divisions in structural, MEP, Geotechnical, and emerging construction technology such as 3D printing of concrete, technology, and 3D laser scanning.

We are committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the industry, and we are seeking a dynamic BD Specialist to drive our platform's evolution and ensure exceptional client experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Business Development: Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients, understanding their technical needs and requirements.Collaborate with the cofoundersto identify opportunities, formulate strategies, and execute plans for business growth.Contribute to strategic planning, prospect analyses, and bid/no-bid decisions in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Client Relationship and Management: Own the dashboard, the central portal connecting clients with VAES.ai technology and specialist civil engineers.Participate in client meetings to ensure successful deployment and feature alignment with client expectations. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, advocating for client needs and driving resolution of any issues or concerns.
  • Production, case studies and Marketing: Manage and develop all production activities, including proposals, qualifications documents, presentations, and other sales/marketing materials. Work with the VAES.ai creative team to create success storiesMaintain databases for use in developing proposals and marketing materials, ensuring accuracy and relevance.Establish processes, procedures, and standards for preparing, producing, and tracking marketing documents and presentations, maintaining consistency with corporate standards.
  • Technology Roadmap: Contribute to maintaining the roadmap for VAES.ai's client and core technology, aligning with market trends, client feedback, and strategic objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features and enhancements, ensuring the platform's competitiveness and relevance.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the engineering/construction/tech industry, with a focus on growth opportunities.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing client relationships, driving business development initiatives, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear and compelling communications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time
