Finance Manager – Ismailia, Egypt

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to lead the finance function of our manufacturing facility in Ismailia, Egypt.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for finance, accounting, treasury, tax, financial reporting, and internal controls. The role will work closely with the Plant Management team and report to the Regional CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance and accounting team.

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.

• Prepare and review financial statements in line with IFRS and Egyptian accounting requirements.

• Monitor factory costs, budgets, cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.

• Manage banking activities, payments, cash flow forecasting, and bank relationships.

• Monitor receivables, payables, inventory, and other working capital areas.

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of VAT, WHT, payroll tax, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and internal controls.

• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.

• Review and improve finance processes and controls.

• Support the Plant Manager and management team with financial analysis and business decisions.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial information is available to management.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CA is an advantage.

• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Finance Manager or similar position.

• Experience in manufacturing, garment, textile, or factory operations is highly preferred.

• Good knowledge of IFRS, Egyptian accounting standards, and Egyptian tax regulations.

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, costing, financial reporting, cash flow, and internal controls.

• Good experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good leadership and communication skills.

• English: Good written and spoken English is required.

• Arabic: Fluent Arabic is preferred.
