Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Review user-generated content to ensure compliance with platform policies and community guidelines.
• Identify and escalate potential violations, including abuse, hate speech, spam, and misleading information.
• Moderate live chats, forums, comments, and other interactive channels in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain consistent moderation standards and document decisions for future reference.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (policy, content, and safety) to refine guidelines and processes.
• Provide feedback on user behavior trends and report recurring issues to improve platform safety.
• Assist in training new moderators and creating resource materials as needed.
• Prepare routine moderation reports and metrics to track performance and impact.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field.
• Early-career professional with 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in content moderation, community management, customer support, or digital platforms.
• Strong command of Arabic; excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic. Proficiency in English is a plus.
• Ability to analyze content context, apply policies consistently, and make fair judgments under time pressure.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Respect for diverse audiences and commitment to maintaining a respectful online environment.
• Reliable internet access and availability to work on a freelance/project basis from Egypt.
