Job Summary The Group Logistics Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the organization's logistics and supply chain operations across multiple business units, regions, or subsidiaries. This role ensures the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods while maintaining high service levels, controlling costs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement group-wide logistics strategies aligned with business objectives.Manage transportation, warehousing, inventory movement, and distribution across all locations.Optimize logistics networks to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer service.Monitor logistics performance through KPIs such as on-time delivery, transportation costs, warehouse productivity, and inventory accuracy.Negotiate and manage contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and warehouse operators.Ensure compliance with local and international transportation regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, sales, finance, and customer service teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.Lead logistics budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.Identify and implement continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.Manage logistics risks and develop contingency plans for supply disruptions.Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock accuracy.Drive digital transformation through logistics systems such as ERP, WMS, and TMS.Prepare management reports and present logistics performance to senior leadership.Lead, coach, and develop logistics managers and teams across multiple sites.Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety requirements, and environmental standards.
