Production Manager to work within a group of specialized factories in furniture manufacturing and office furniture solutions. Location: Obour City. Job type: Full-time. Working hours: Saturday to Thursday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Friday off). Job overview:
An experienced Production Manager with no less than 15 years in furniture factories, possessing a leadership personality and a high ability to manage teams and operational processes efficiently, while achieving production, quality, and delivery targets, and working on improving performance and operational efficiency on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities:
- Full supervision of all stages of the production process inside the factory.
- Prepare and implement production plans in line with the company’s objectives and delivery plans.
- Lead and manage work teams and raise performance and productivity levels.
- Monitor the execution of operating commands and ensure compliance with technical specifications and required quality.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Stores, Quality, and Maintenance departments to ensure continuous operation.
- Monitor raw material consumption, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze performance indicators and develop plans for continuous improvement and productivity increase.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards inside the factory.
- Prepare periodic operational reports and submit recommendations to management.
- Manage operational problems and make quick and effective decisions.
- Develop operational procedures and policies to achieve growth and sustainability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production preferred) or a suitable qualification.
- At least 15 years of experience in the industrial production field.
- Prefer direct experience in office furniture factories or similar industries.
- Proven experience in managing work teams and operational leadership.
- Leadership personality with the ability to make decisions and manage crises.
- Experience in production planning and improving operational processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems or Odoo is preferred.
- Ability to manage more than one production line and achieve operational targets.
