Our Direct Hiring Operations Team is seeking a German-speaking, detail-oriented, highly organized Operations Associate to own end-to-end processes that empower global hiring. In this role, you’ll bridge clients, internal teams, and partners, turning complexity into clarity while ensuring seamless, compliant operations.

We enable companies to hire talent directly in new markets by managing their foreign employer registration, onboarding, payroll, and ongoing compliance. Think of us as the behind-the-scenes engine that keeps global teams running smoothly, so our clients can focus on growing their business, not paperwork.

• Own end-to-end project management for global hiring operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency at every stage.
• Simplify complex operational or financial concepts into clear, actionable steps for clients and internal teams.
• Proactively manage client workflows with precision, from onboarding to payroll coordination, while maintaining a “helicopter view” of priorities.
• Adapt quickly to shifting regulations, client needs, or market dynamics in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Build trust through transparent communication, resolving escalations with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to innovate and improve our operational framework.

• 3–5 years of operations experience in HR, payroll, or global workforce management (startup/SaaS background is a plus).
• Proven ability to manage projects from A-to-Z, with strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• Calm under pressure: You adapt quickly, prioritize effectively, and thrive in ambiguity.
• A simplifier at heart: you translate complex processes or messages into clear, actionable steps.
• Startup DNA: Ownership mentality, rapid learning agility, and comfort with a wide-scope, ‘company-within-a-company’ role.
• Fluent English and German (written and spoken) is essential.

• Familiarity with international labor laws or payroll systems.
• Experience scaling operations in hyper-growth environments.
• Additional European languages (Portuguese, Spanish, or Italian)
