Job Purpose:
The Design Assistant Manager is responsible for the design, coordination, and documentation of architectural projects within the development portfolio, producing high-quality visual materials that effectively communicate project concepts and details throughout all development stages. The role includes modeling masterplans, developing architectural marketing materials such as rendered plans and elevations, preparing contractual and presentation content, creating design and visual studies, and producing 3D visuals in alignment with project and company standards. This role is ideal for a motivated architect eager to gain comprehensive exposure to real estate development projects from concept to delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
Support in preparing conceptual, schematic, and detailed design drawings for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Manage consultants and review design and tender packages. Manage project stakeholders to ensure consistency across all phases of the project. Manage all disciplines for Architecture, Structure, MEP, Landscape, Geotechnical, and Master Planning. Provide technical support to the construction team. Develop presentation materials, marketing layouts, and complete sales kit packages. Produce detailed and visually engaging masterplan renderings that illustrate urban layouts, landscape features, and architectural components. Create design and visual studies to support concept development, massing, and material exploration. Contribute to the design review process by researching materials, design standards, and relevant regulations. Participate in design workshops and brainstorming sessions with the project team. Prepare and update architectural drawings, layouts, and design packages. Review and organize architectural documentation for design submissions, permits, and approvals. Prepare rendered architectural plans, elevations, and sections that clearly communicate design intent for marketing and presentation purposes. Attend coordination meetings and prepare minutes or follow-up actions. Track design revisions and maintain organized project files and documentation. Support the team in evaluating design proposals from consultants or contractors.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture (Master's degree is a plus).10 years of relevant experience in architectural design, preferably within a real estate developer or consultancy firm. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, 3D Max, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite. InDesign and Photoshop proficiency is a must. Experience with AI-based visualization tools and platforms for concept generation and image enhancement. Strong understanding of architectural detailing, design documentation, and coordination workflows. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
