Job Summary The Investment Analyst is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, performing market research, and supporting investment decisions. The role involves building financial models, analyzing financial statements, assessing risks, and preparing investment recommendations to maximize portfolio performance and achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities Conduct financial analysis of companies, industries, and investment opportunities. Build and maintain financial models for valuation and forecasting. Perform company valuations using DCF, Comparable Companies, and Precedent Transactions methodologies. Analyze financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business performance. Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments. Conduct due diligence on potential investments. Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and investment committees. Evaluate investment risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. Track portfolio performance and provide regular performance reports. Support mergers & acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and strategic investment projects when required. Maintain databases and financial information for investment analysis. Collaborate with finance, legal, and external advisors during transactions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CFA Level I, II, or completed CFA designation is highly preferred. MBA is an advantage. Experience2–5 years of experience in investment analysis, equity research, corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, asset management, or investment banking. Experience in financial modeling and valuation is essential.
