Role Description This full-time, on-site Structural Design Engineer role is based in Qesm 1st 6 October. The Structural Design Engineer will perform structural analysis and design for precast concrete elements and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. Daily responsibilities include developing and reviewing structural drawings and models using CAD tools, coordinating with BIM specialists, and preparing technical documentation such as calculations and design reports. The role involves collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to resolve structural issues, optimize designs for constructability and cost, and support clash-free coordination within BIM workflows. The engineer will also assist in quality checks, design revisions, and continuous improvement of design processes and standards. Qualifications Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to perform detailed structural analysis for precast concrete systems. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, including Auto CAD, for developing and reviewing structural drawings and models. Ability to interpret and apply relevant building codes, standards, and regulations in structural design. Experience working within BIM-based project environments and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams is highly beneficial. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, including contractors and consultants. Prior experience in precast concrete design or construction is an advantage.
