City Glass, a leading manufacturer of Tableware products is seeking a skilled and experienced: ????Senior Packaging Designer | Logistics Optimization????
Key Responsibilities▪️ Design and develop structural packaging solutions for a wide range of products.▪️Create packaging drawings, prototypes, and technical specifications. Select appropriate packaging materials based on product requirements and cost targets.▪️Optimize packaging dimensions to achieve maximum utilization of: ???? Product packing configuration. ????Master Cartons. ????Pallets. ????Shipping Containers.▪️Reduce transportation and warehousing costs through efficient packaging design and space utilization.▪️Minimize empty spaces and voids within packaging and shipping configurations.▪️Calculate and optimize carton dimensions based on pallet and container internal measurements.▪️Ensure maximum pallet occupancy and container loading efficiency while maintaining product safety.▪️Perform packaging performance and durability assessments.▪️Collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, and Sales teams.▪️Ensure packaging designs are suitable for manufacturing processes and operational requirements.▪️Continuously identify opportunities for material reduction and packaging cost optimization.

Requirements :▪️Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design or a related field.▪️Years of Experience: 4-8 years.▪️Strong knowledge of: ????Corrugated Packaging. ????Folding Cartons. ????Protective Packaging Solutions. ????Packaging Materials and Manufacturing Processes.▪️Proficiency in CAD software such as: ????Artios CAD. ????Auto CAD. ????Solid Works. ????Esko Solutions.▪️Strong understanding of: ????Palletization Standards. ????Container Loading Optimization. ????Cube Utilization. ????Transportation Cost Reduction Techniques.▪️Proven experience in designing packaging systems that maximize pallet and container occupancy while minimizing dead space and logistics costs.▪️Ability to analyze product dimensions and develop optimal packaging configurations for master cartons, pallets, and shipping containers.▪️Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.▪️Excellent communication and project management abilities.
