Role Description The English Second Language Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Jizah, Egypt. The instructor will deliver CEFR-aligned lessons to small groups of adult learners, facilitating communicative, task-based activities that emphasize speaking, listening, and real-world workplace communication. Daily responsibilities include using pre-developed curriculum decks, guiding learners through progression across levels, providing individualized feedback, and maintaining detailed records of learner performance and attendance. The role involves collaborating with the academic team to ensure consistent application of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) principles, participating in periodic training or calibration sessions, and supporting diagnostic and trial lessons for prospective learners. Instructors are expected to foster an inclusive, professional classroom environment that encourages learner confidence and active participation. Qualifications Strong foundation in English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language, with demonstrable experience in adult or higher-education contexts. Proficiency in Teaching methodologies and Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), with the ability to manage small, interactive groups. Experience or familiarity with structured, level-based language programs. Background or academic exposure to Linguistics, applied linguistics, or language acquisition principles. Native-level or near-native English proficiency, with clear, professional communication skills. Comfort using digital tools and online platforms to complement in-person teaching, including AI-assisted meeting or note-taking tools.
