Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities Machine Setup & Operation Configure glass pressing machines according to technical blueprints. Install and align specific molds, plungers, and shearing mechanisms. Regulate furnace temperatures, gob weights, and press pressure variables. Monitor automated feeding systems to ensure consistent molten glass delivery. Quality Control & Trouble-shooting Inspect finished glass items for defects like blisters, checks, or chill marks. Measure product dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Adjust machine parameters mid-run to correct structural or cosmetic deviations. Isolate and report defective batches to the quality assurance team immediately. Maintenance & Safety Perform routine preventative maintenance on pressing equipment and molds. Clean and lubricate machinery components to prevent mechanical failures. Adhere to all OSHAS regulations and plant-specific safety protocols. Wear mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including heat-resistant gear.

Desired Candidate Profile
