Role Description The Payroll & Personnel Specialist – Sharkia is a full-time, on-site role based in Az Zaqāzīq. This role is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for employees in the Sharkia region, including preparing payroll data, verifying attendance and overtime, and ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement. The specialist manages personnel records, handles employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits, and supports compliance with local labor laws and internal policies. Daily tasks include coordinating with HR and finance teams, processing new hires, terminations, and changes, and maintaining secure and up-to-date employee files. The role also involves preparing payroll reports, supporting audits, and contributing to continuous improvement of payroll and personnel processes.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing, with experience managing end-to-end payroll cycles. Ability to handle Payroll Taxes and Garnishments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. Familiarity with Payroll Services platforms or systems and comfort working with HRIS and accounting software. Solid understanding of local labor laws and regulations in Egypt, especially as they relate to compensation and benefits. Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to manage sensitive data confidentially. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to support employees and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple deadlines and maintain complete documentation. Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, HR, or a related field; prior experience in payroll or personnel administration is highly beneficial.
