As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will be a vital link between our technical capabilities and our business development goals. Your primary focus will be on driving sales, understanding the market, and generating new business.
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Proactively identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities and leads through research, outreach, and market understanding.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas, demonstrating a proven track record of converting leads into successful deals.
- Technical Sales Support: Work closely with the external sales and technical teams to prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
- Market Expansion & Business Development: Actively participate in strategic initiatives to expand Horizon Technology's market share and develop new business streams.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and serve as a primary contact for technical sales inquiries.
- Market Insight: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and product offerings to effectively position Horizon Technology's solutions.
Skills
✅ Required Qualifications and Experience
- Experience: 2-5 years of progressive experience in an Internal Sales, Sales Support, or Sales Engineering role within the ICT industry.
- Proven Results: Demonstrated, verifiable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Technical Acumen: Strong technical understanding of ICT solutions (e.g., networking, security, cloud, infrastructure).
- Business Development Mindset: Proven availability and willingness to engage in market expansions and business development activities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer, Communications, or equivalent) or a related technical field is preferred.
