- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
- Maintain the financial health of the organization.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
- Lease with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, MOST OF THEM IN THE REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY.Proven track record in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within real estate, construction, or investment sectors.Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Experience managing and developing high-performing finance teams.Advanced proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
