- Supervise daily maintenance operations for the company’s fleet, ensuring all vehicles are serviced and repaired according to established schedules.
- Coordinate with drivers and logistics teams to minimize vehicle downtime and maximize fleet availability.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies related to fleet maintenance.
- Oversee the inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Manage relationships with external service providers, parts suppliers, and maintenance vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory using fleet management software.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend vehicle lifespan and reduce unexpected breakdowns.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous skill development.
- Analyze maintenance data and KPIs to identify trends, optimize processes, and recommend improvements.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control for fleet maintenance operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive , or a related field.3-5 years of proven experience in fleet maintenance or a similar role.Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, diagnostics, and repair techniques.Familiarity with fleet management systems and maintenance scheduling software.Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team of technicians and support staff.Strong communication skills Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in fleet operations.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret maintenance data and KPIs.Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance issues outside regular working hours as needed.
