- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate and support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and compliance reviews.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial transactions to optimize resource utilization.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the accounting function.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international financial regulations and standards.
Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.Proven experience in managing accounting teams and overseeing financial operations.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (local and international).Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze complex financial statements and reports.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team leadership and cross-department collaboration.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.High level of integrity and attention to detail.
