Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of financial reconciliations between internal systems and external entities such as banks, payment processors, and telecom operators.
- Analyze financial discrepancies and handle unmatched transactions, chargebacks, and settlement delays to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation and settlement reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Tech, Product) to enhance automation, accuracy, and efficiency in reconciliation processes.
- Monitor revenue streams to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely recognition within digital financial services.
- Identify and analyze revenue leakages and operational risks, and implement corrective actions and preventive controls.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor revenue and support management assurance.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing reconciliations, risk assessments, and control documentation.
Additional Operational Tasks:
- Handle disputed transactions efficiently and professionally.
- Manage banking transactions related to retail payment channels.
- Address critical cases and escalations in coordination with billers, colleagues, and relevant departments.
- Follow up on fund transfers and receipts in coordination with the Finance team when needed.
- Receive transaction-related complaints from internal and external parties and escalate them to the appropriate department to resolve the end-customer issue.
- Establish effective communication channels with various departments to ensure professional and timely resolution of biller issues and requests.
- Guide and support other teams in resolving identified issues smoothly and professionally.
2-5 years of experience in reconciliation, settlement, or related financial operations roles.Strong understanding of financial transaction flows and settlement processes.Proficiency in using reconciliation and accounting software.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.Experience working in a financial institution, fintech, or payment processing environment is preferred.High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
