Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Office Manager to lead a design back-office team in Egypt that supports U.S. engineering projects.
The role involves managing the Egyptian technical team, ensuring design quality per U.S. codes, and maintaining daily coordination with the American partner’s design managers.

You will report directly to Egypt management but will be responsible for delivering all design outputs and communications to the U.S. partner.

Main Responsibilities

Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and draftsmen (structural, civil, MEP, architectural).

Ensure all drawings, models, and calculations comply with U.S. codes and standards (ASCE, ACI, AISC, NFPA, NEC, IBC, etc.).

Implement and oversee QA/QC procedures for all deliverables before submission.

Coordinate daily with the U.S. partner’s engineers to align design requirements, comments, and schedules.

Manage project timelines, workloads, and resource planning for multiple projects.

Conduct internal design reviews, resolve technical issues, and maintain clear documentation.

Train and develop the Egyptian team to meet U.S. design and documentation standards.

Prepare regular progress reports and ensure consistent, professional communication.
