- Plan , Organize and direct all the activities of the cost accounting Function .
- Manage all activities of operation budget function starting from budget setting, expenditure controls and variance reporting.
- Manage day to day operations of existing cost accounting function.
- Develop new process to drive productivity in the cost accounting function including implementation of CO , ERP system.
- Full responsibility of the monthly closing & reporting activities for the internal and external communities.
- Assist with coordination and deliverables for quarterly review and annual audit performed by internal and external audit.
- Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to operation managers.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the manufacturing or building materials sector, at least 2 years experience in same position.Experience in Mining industry or similar industries. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, practices, and procedures.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate across departments.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.CMA is preferred.
