- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements as required.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain compliance with local, national, and international financial regulations and standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure proper cost allocation and financial tracking for ongoing projects.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.4-6 years of proven experience in accounting, preferably within the construction or contracting industry.Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational and time management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards in handling confidential financial information.Experience working in an office-based, full-time, and long-term role.
