  • Develop and implement strategies for cloud operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cloud engineers and support staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Establish and optimize processes for incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem prevention within the cloud environment.
  • Implement and enforce robust change management procedures to minimize risks and ensure smooth transitions of cloud services.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud spending, identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising service quality.
  • Manage relationships with service providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Ensure cloud operations adhere to regulatory compliance requirements and security best practices.
  • Forecast future cloud resource needs and plan for scaling infrastructure to meet business demands.
  • Provide regular reports on cloud performance, availability, usage, consumption, and cost metrics to senior management.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role specifically managing cloud environments.Cloud provider certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent) are highly preferred.ITIL certification (Foundation, Practitioner, or Intermediate) is highly preferredCertified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) is highly preferred.
