Quality Control Section head

 

  • Quality Control Processes: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes for raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods
  • Supplier Management: Establish requirements for raw material and packaging suppliers, and monitor their compliance with quality standards.
  • Testing and Analysis: Oversee the testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Data Collection and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on quality data, including defect rates, audit reports, and improvement activities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all quality control activities.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to packhouse staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and BRC/FSSC.
  • Leadership: Supervise and motivate the quality control team, providing guidance and support.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, food science, or quality management.Experience: 8-10 of experience in quality control, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.Knowledge: Understanding of quality management systems (QMS), statistical quality control tools, and relevant industry standards.Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
