- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Create rough and final cuts
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
education & Experience: 3-5 years of experience in video editing & photography. A degree in Film Production, Multimedia, or a related field is a plus.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and DaVinci Resolve. Strong knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and color grading. Experience with motion graphics & drone videography is a plus.Creative & Soft Skills: Strong storytelling, attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, and excellent teamwork & communication skills.Other Requirements: Flexibility to travel and work outside regular hours if needed. Familiarity with social media video formats is a plus.
