- Plan and deliver French lessons that are engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate for students in the Junior Department.
- Create and implement various teaching strategies and materials to enhance students’ language skills in French.
- Promote a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged and confident to learn and speak French.
- Assess and monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and report on students' academic performance regularly.
- Encourage active participation and communication through group activities, discussions, and projects in French.
- Work closely with other teachers, school staff, and parents to support the academic development of students.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Integrate cultural aspects of French-speaking countries into lessons to enrich students’ understanding of the language and its context.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and ensure a safe and respectful environment for all students.
- Stay up-to-date with educational trends, language development, and teaching resources in the French language field.
Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).Teaching certification (where applicable).Proven experience teaching French to young learners (preferably in a Junior or Primary school setting).Strong communication skills, both in French and English.Enthusiasm for working with children and an ability to engage students at different levels of language proficiency.Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
