Group Procurement Manager

  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  • Assess, manage and mitigate risks
  • Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field 10-15 years of experience, 5+ years of experience as a purchasing manager.In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, strategies and best practices.Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimization and negotiation techniques.An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in using procurement software and systems.Knowledge of local and national laws and regulations related to procurement.Willingness to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment.Supplier Evaluation, Contract Negotiation, and Procurement skillsAnalytical Skills and Contract Management abilities
