- Monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and take corrective action to ensure budget adherence.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and optimize supply chain processes, leveraging industry best practices.
- Implement robust systems and controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan supply, and align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks.
Cost Management:
- Negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers to optimize costs and ensure quality.
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality or service levels.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth execution of supply chain activities.
- Analyze inventory levels, optimize warehouse operations, and improve logistics efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage supply chain-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget and scope.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate accurate and timely reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform decision-making.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.Experience in Heavy industry is preferred 10-15 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., ERP systems, supply chain planning tools).
