span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">What will I be doing? 

As the Events Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 

  • Assist the Catering & Events team in preparing proposals, contracts, Banquet Event Orders and other administrative support during the day-to-day operation
  • Assist the Catering & Events team in communicate with prospective customers regarding meeting space and/or banquet space and rate availability
  • Initiate reservation for corporate meetings, social events, group events, wedding bookings and all administrative preparation required in the reservation process as well as update bookings in the system
  • Data entry to system and make sure all the data is updated
  • Copying and distributing of internal/external letters, forms, bookings, contracts, event orders, room lists, schedules and email. E-mail correspondence directed by managers as needed. Filling, faxing and distribution of incoming/outgoing mail
  • Prepare all sales collaterals required related to all sales activity
  • Responsible in answering any incoming telephone and assist internal and external customers with requests
  • Assist the Catering & Events team upon request to conduct hotel inspection with potential customers
  • Attend any required weekly and/or monthly meetings to support business operations
  • Take minutes during meetings and distribute to all related Catering & Event Team Members
  • Represent the hotel and brand through projecting a professional appearance, conduct and integrity
  • Assist, generate and submit departmental reports with Senior Catering & Events Manager and Catering & Events Manager / Executive as well as Assistant Director of Catering & Events
  • If required, participate in tradeshows, exhibitions and community events to promote hotel
  • Maintain a good working relationship with other departments and employees
  • Complete all related training required, both online and offline / in class
  • Complete any special project assigned by management

• University graduate. 

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity with international chain hotels. 

• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese to meet business needs. 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Good team player. 

• Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods. 

• Very familiar with the local market and good at marketing trend analysis.
