The Production Planning Manager should coordinate all planning activities to achieve sustainable production and sales demand considering production capacity, standard cost, time scheduling and material availability to achieve resource optimization.
- Manage the production capacity and regular productivity to match with Sales demands.
- Contribute in the establishment of the annual budget for manufacturing.
- Achieve production plan, capacity utilization, availability of material and safety inventory stock with standard cost and planned time.
- Analysis of capacity versus utilization.
- Monitor and control any plan deviation including (production cost, production capacity, stoppages and downtime).
- Discuss and report any plan deviations with intended departments.
- Approve material release order.
- Manage production scheduling, material handling and production control activities to achieve production plans matching with sales demand.
- Contribute in trouble shooting if there are any deviations to maintain plan.
- Manage all production planning reports and present it to top management.
- Manage and control a daily meeting with shop floor teams to show what achieved and what remains from monthly production plan.
- Update all related parties with any plan changes to ensure the alignment with all departments.
- Take action when there is any change in any plan priorities as a response to any change in supply and demand.
- Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
- Organize the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferred Supply Chain Management Courses is a plus Deep knowledge of production manUnderstanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts Experience in reporting on key production metricsProficient in MS Office and ERP software Outstanding communication ability Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
