The purpose of the Away-from-Home Sales Manager role is to drive revenue growth and brand presence in non-traditional sales channels by developing strategic partnerships, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring operational excellence in key accounts. This role will support the company’s objectives by expanding market reach in the away-from-home segment, fostering strong customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy for the away-from-home channel, focusing on brand visibility and revenue growth.
- Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets across key customer accounts.
- Ensure the alignment of sales activities with the overall company goals and objectives.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients in the away-from-home segment, including negotiating favorable terms and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Develop long-term partnerships and ensure effective service delivery to enhance client loyalty.
- Conduct regular account reviews and customer feedback sessions.
- Perform regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the away-from-home sector.
- Identify and initiate new business opportunities to increase market reach and revenue.
- Work with marketing and product teams to tailor offerings to the specific needs of away-from-home customers.
- Ensure the smooth operation of sales processes, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and delivery scheduling.
- Track and report key performance metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in sales, preferably with experience in the beverage or FMCG industries. A strong focus on away-from-home or off-premise channels is required.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related fields
- Demonstrated success in managing accounts, achieving revenue targets, and negotiating contracts within a competitive market.
