Site Steel Structure Engineer is needed for a Leading Construction Company located in 5th Settlement.

Key Duties:

-  Reviews technical documentation and requirements needed to be executed on-site.

-  Controls subcontracted discipline engineering documents.

-  Sets up and executes assigned engineering activities such as verification, erection, fabrication, and welding relevant to any engineering topic associated to costs and safety.

-  Prepares technical documentation for steel structure material requisition and assists the procurement dept in the technical evaluations.

-  Review/ comments if any shop drawings and connection calculation notes and details.

-  Supervises/Approves steel structure drawings issued by the technical office.

-  Preparing daily planning reports on Ms-project including all steel activities needed to be implemented on site.

-  Providing technical advice on-site related to steel if needed.

-  Following up on material stocks (steel) to avail of all needed resources on time.

- Liaise and coordinate with relevant professional staff such as a technical office.

-  Monitoring, Following, and inspecting work undertaken by Sub-contractors.

-  Inspecting properties to check conditions/foundations.

-  Perform daily reports on all activities related to Steel and send it to the HO.

Requirements:

- Min 5 years of experience in the same field of Electrical Design.

- Excellent skills in Cad, ETABs, Revit, SAP2000, Idea Statica, TEKLA, and other job-related software.

- Excellent knowledge of building codes.

- Experience in high-rise buildings.
